Chicken Salad

Ingredients

  • Olive oil
  • Lemon
  • Garlic
  • Yogurt ( half a cup )
  • Salt
  • 1 pound boneless chicken
  • Mustard
  • Crusty bread

Directions

  • Bake the bread with 1 tablespoon of olive oil in it and bake until it is crisp. Bake for at least 20 minutes.
  • Now take the yogurt, lemon, garlic, and mustard. Blend it in a food processor.
  • Add the chicken and season with salt and pepper. Brush some olive oil on to either side of the chicken.
  • Cook it for some time till it’s color changes to golden.
  • Now toss the bread and some lettuce or spinach into the dressing bowl.
  • Slice the chicken into thin strips and season with pepper.
  • Complete your dish with some coriander dressing.

Ingredients

  • Potatoes (2 pounds)
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Garlic
  • Brown sugar
  • Boneless chicken breast
  • Lemon
  • Chili flakes

Directions

  • Marinate the potatoes with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, salt, and pepper. Roast the potatoes in the oven till they turn brown. Approximate time taken will be 25 to 30 minutes.
  • In the meanwhile, heat some olive oil and stir with brown sugar and lemon juice. Add some chili flakes.
  • Now place the chicken breasts accordingly in the middle. Season with salt and garlic mixture.
  • Once removed from the, cut the chicken pieces and toss them along with the potatoes. 
  • Garnish with some squeezed lemon juice.

Mac And Cheese

The easy to cook mac and cheese is a perfect dish for family night and makes up for a healthy treat.

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces of pasta
  • Butter
  • Flour
  • Mustard
  • Milk
  • Cream
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Pepper
  • Basil leaves

Directions

  • Boil a pan of water and add pasta to it.
  • Now add butter, and let it melt.
  • Add the flour and mustard and keep stirring till the flour begins to toast. Add the milk after 1 minute and wait.
  • After a few minutes, whisk in the cheese and cream.
  • Stir the pasta in and transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
  • Heat the dish until the pasta turns golden. Sprinkle some coriander leaves and pepper for garnishing and decoration.
