Chicken Biryani

  • 300 gm. of rice
  • 500 gm. of boneless chicken
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 2 onions
  • 3 green peppers
  • 3 tbsp. of olive oil
  • 4 tbsp. butter
  • 3 cups of water
  • 1 plain yogurt
  • spices (2 cinnamon sticks, 5 cloves, 2 bay leaves, 4 mint leaves, 2 teaspoons hot pepper, 3 teaspoons cilantro, 1/4 teaspoon saffron)

Ingredients For Marinating

•¼ spoon of salt

•3 spoon of lemon juice

• ¼ spoon of turmeric (saffron from India)

•½ spoon of coriander

• 1/3 spoon of spicy paprika

½ spoon of garlic in pasta

  1. In a bowl, place all the ingredients for marinating and mix well.
  2. Clean the chicken meat cut it into small pieces and put it to marinate in the bowl.
  3. In a pan, place the oil with two tablespoons of butter, and bring to moderate heat.
  4. When the temperature has risen, place the bay leaves, cinnamon and cloves there. Add the pepper and mint well chopped, and the coriander.
  5. Cut the onions into thin slices and add to the pan.
  6. When the onion has fried well (note that it acquires a transparent color), cut the tomatoes into thin strips and incorporate them.
  7. Immediately add the garlic paste and the marinated chicken.
  8. Sprinkle with turmeric, paprika, and salt.
  9. Mix well so that the preparation is uniform and creamy.
  10. In a saucepan place three cups of water, yogurt and a cup of the preparation that is in the pan.
  11. Add the rice and bring to the fire to boil until cooked.
  12. To serve, combine part of the preparation with chicken and rice, and both are decorated and flavored with melted butter and cilantro.

Raita Cucumber Salad With Yogurt

  • 3 cups of white yogurt.
  • 1 cup peeled and grated cucumber
  • 1/4 teaspoon fresh peeled and grated ginger.
  • 1/8 teaspoon of pepper
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon of green paprika
  • 2 teaspoons of toasted cumin.
  • Salt to taste.


  1. Mix all the ingredients, except the seasonings.
  2. Garnish with toasted cumin.
  3. Serve very cold.
